Kaely Cormack (she/her)

Director, Fundraising

Kaely has worked for 10 years as a Marketing and Communications Director, focusing on digital advocacy for progressive and charitable causes. With a keen eye for design and a strong attention to detail, Kaely’s tenacious nature ensures every project she touches is completed in a timely, efficient manner.

Outside of marketing, Kaely is the co-founder of Femme Wave Arts Society, a nonprofit organization that set out to create safe and inclusive spaces for women and non-binary artists. For five years Femme Wave hosted a multidisciplinary arts festival throughout downtown Calgary. In 2020, Kaely was named one of Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 alongside Hayley Muir for their creation of Femme Wave, and they were also the recipients of The City of Calgary Sandstone City Builders Award.

Kaely has toured across Western Canada playing guitar with her punk band, and can often be found hopping around different music venues downtown experiencing the rich musical culture Calgary has to offer.
