With only three of the 15 members of Calgary’s City Council being women, there is a lack of equitable representation and diverse voices at City Hall.

We are actively working to elect more women to City Council in 2021 to better reflect our community, values, and people. 

But we need your help to do this.

From its inception, Ask Her YYC has thrived on the generosity of people and organizations willing to invest time and dollars into advancing gender parity.

Your support will:

  • Invest in the women who will lead tomorrow. Fund women candidates who have the vision to lead our city and make Calgary the best place to live, work, play, invest, and create businesses.

  • Build capability and connections. Support our main programs--Prepare Her, Mentor Her, and Count Women In--to help women access all the necessary tools and support to run a successful election campaign.

  • Fund experts to serve as teachers and mentors. Bring experts, collaborations, and partnerships to help train Calgary’s future city Councillors.

  • Enhance reach and impact in our city--and the country. Increase the number of women running in future elections and build a larger pipeline of women, building interest and preparation early on.
