Our Mission
Ask Her’s vision is simple: our municipal leadership should reflect all of us.
Founded in 2016 to encourage more women to run for Calgary City Council in the 2017 election, Ask Her is working to advance the principles of inclusive and equitable representation in municipal government through opportunities for the development and training of candidates, volunteers, supporters, funders, and mentors.
OUR MISSION
We believe that municipal councils are more effective when they reflect the communities they serve. We advance representation by preparing people from underrepresented groups, specifically women and gender-diverse people, to engage in municipal leadership.
