Anna Goplen (she/her)

Director, Communications

Anna Goplen is a policy professional currently working in health policy. She has her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and a Master’s of Public Policy from the University of Calgary. She has been involved with Ask Her since 2021. 

Anna is a longtime member of Alberta’s speed skating community and has coached with speed skating clubs in Edmonton and Calgary. She is also passionate about civic engagement, having previously volunteered with nonpartisan Get Out the Vote initiatives and leadership campaigns within student and municipal government. She was the co-chair of her workplace’s United Way fundraising campaign and is a volunteer with the Art Gallery of Alberta. 

In her spare time, Anna is an avid reader and enjoys watching terrible movies with her friends. She currently lives in Edmonton with her beta fish, Inky.
